
The Lake Alexander Property Owners Association (LAPOA) in conjunction with Minnesota Lakes and Rivers Advocates is sponsoring the Lake Steward Program to interested members. The program encourages landowner practices that support clean water and healthy habitat. Shoreline conservation efforts play a critical role in ensuring that fishing and recreational opportunities along with property values are maintained and improved. The website contains links to much useful information about shoreline conservation. The LAPOA will provide a “Shoreland Guide to Lake Stewardship” to interested members. In addition, the LAPOA will provide up to $500 in matching grants to members who qualify as Lake Stewards.
